Hyunju Park

Artist, Educator

Hyunju Park is an educator and artist whose primary medium is painting. As an educator, she teaches painting, sculpture, and IB visual arts at DePaul College Prep. Her teaching emphasizes interdisciplinarity, collaboration, and student-centered learning. She loves free discussions and laughs with her students. As an artist, Hyunju is interested in the relationship between nature and humans, which is often explored through the topics of dreams, consciousness, and art history in her paintings. Hyunju holds a B.A. from DePaul University (Fine Art, Media) and a M.A. from School of the Art Institute of Chicago (Art Education).
